Updates at Lo-Fi Cinema

[this is good]

Hey, I really enjoyed watching these. I've been carting the idea around in my head that a film has to be half an hour or more to qualify and that's really intimidating! I can do something shorter.

What software do you use to edit your video footage, if you don't mind me asking? I need something soon and haven't the first clue what to try. I really need something newbie friendly!

Currently, I edit mostly in Final Cut Express, which is the stripped down version of Mac's Final Cut Pro. It's very intuitive and relatively easy to just start using once you load it onto your machine, assuming that you have a Mac. If you want to experiment with editing, there are couple of online videosharing services that are also editing platforms: eyespot and Jumpcut. There's a pretty good comparative list of programs on Wikipedia. Best wishes.
